The Sport Cruiser is now available
in a Quick-Build Kit (QBK) for assembly under Experimental
Amateur-Built (EAB) or Experimental Light Sport Aircraft
(ELSA) rules. The QBK is fully compliant with the FAA 51%
experimental class rule and already approved under a
comparable evaluation in the UK and Switzerland.
The experimental class allows builders more flexibility in
modifications or choice of engines but does require a
normal pilots license in most countries to operate.
However, a sport pilot may still fly the experimental
version of the SportCruiser since the aircraft still fits
within the legal definition of LSA parameters provided he
builder does not install a turbo-prop or solid-fueled
rocket engine.
CZAW also offers options such as pre-cut and wired plug
and play instrument panels, upholstery kits, and pre-
assembled engine packages to further decrease the build
time and insure a successful project.

Kit
is completed with the exception of some of the top
wing skins still left unriveted. These skins have been
CNC cut and
drilled, prefit on final assembly jigs. The builder is
only responsible for positioning and closing using
AVEX structural pull rivets (included with the kit).
