       SPORTCRUISER ENDS UP IN THE LEAD FOR FEBRUARY AND MARCH IN
         SLSA REGISTRATIONS.  U.S. BOUND SLSA DELIVERY SCORECARD :
               

The photos above were taken recently at the Sport Aircraft Works, Inc., Indiantown Assembly Hangar and Sales Headquarters. A steady schedule of shipments have been arriving and as a result our hangar is  busy. In the background are the silhouettes of retired airline AMT (A&P) mechanics "Pops" and Mike, busy at work taking care of our SportCruiser customers' aircraft post-shipping and re-assembly inspections.

February marks a milestone for CZAW as they register 8 SLSA aircraft for the month. That was enough to take the lead in that category. Although the March figures are not yet official, it is expected that CZAW will again be number one. To date fifty-three (53) and counting, SportCruiser SLSA aircraft have been registered and issued airworthiness certificates in the SLSA category here in the US. The source of that figure is derived from the FAA Aircraft Registration Database. This same database also shows 2 SportCruiser's that are registered as Amateur-built Experimental. "The number of registrations will continue to increase for the interim and 2nd quarter." says Defelici, CEO of Sport Aircraft Works, Inc., US distributor of the SportCruiser. Current delivery trends estimate another 15-25 units by the end of June. However Defelici is cautious in his conservative estimates. "We're sticking to our plan. Our goal right now is  to reduce the lead time for orders. We'll help out wherever it makes sense for us and we are doing that right now.
 

DYNAMIC MAKES ITS DEBUT IN LSA IN THE USA...

The Dynamic underwent spin testing recently and finished this task without any undesirable control behavior. Testing was done in a variety of C.G Load and control input configurations. All testing situations were recoverable using normal spin recovery procedures in every instance.  The aircraft stall is very clean and as a result the plane had to be intentionally placed into each spin. Testing was carried out by members of the Slovak Civil Aviation Authority, CAA and Aerospool Spol,SRO. A short video of the flight test can be viewed here.

Great news for dynamic enthusiasts !!! Our Factory has been working very hard to debut its new SLSA, Special Light Sport Aircraft, version of the Dynamic. This long-awaited superb performing version is even more refined than its predecessor. With new winglets, its slow speed envelope is even more impressive. Once released this by far will be the best choice for a composite LSA.
